1- ExpressCards require a USB to ExpressCard Adapter.
2- The user experience with devices running Windows Mobile is less robust than other phones and modems. Windows Mobile devices connected to either a PC or a CradlePoint router have exhibited erratic behavior while using data sharing capabilities. Issues include frequent disconnects for no apparent reason and remedies entail frequent rebooting the phone and or removing the phone's battery. This problem is not something that can be resolved by CradlePoint Technology and will need to be addressed by the phone manufacturer.
3- Use of the Palm Centro requires Rev. 1.1 Hardware or use of an external USB hub.
4 - Requires an Express-To-USB adapter that provides 1.2 volts.
5 - These modems can take up to 2.5 minutes to make a data connection. In our tests, they appear to spend a long time attempting to get a signal before they can make a data connection. The Ultra seems to connect more quickly in our tests. Note that the the Ultra Express' performance in the router is not as good as in the PC. This modem works with the router, but if you have a choice any of the other GSM modems such as the Novatel or Sierra Wireless are more compatible.
Easy to use
The CTR350 Mobile Broadband Travel Router is a full-featured wireless 802.11b/g router developed to be a plug ‘n’ play solution. Simply connect an activated USB modem, plug in the CTR350 and turn the unit on. Within seconds you will have a secure WiFi network for up to 16 WiFi enabled devices.
Portable and Powerful
The smallest router in its class, the CTR350 can go with you anywhere. Enjoy the convenience of WiFi without having to search for a hotspot or risking a non-secure connection.
Secure and Reliable
This high-performance router platform, powered by WiPipe™ technology, supports multiple and concurrent VPN pass-through sessions, plus encryption modes including 64/128-bit WEP, WPA and WPA2. Additionally, built-in auto-failover keeps everyone online switching from wired to wireless broadband access in the event of a wired ISP failure.
Mobile Business
Our smallest cellular router doesn't mean it lacks features or functionality. Even though it can fit in your shirt pocket, CradlePoint’s CTR-350 teamed with your EVDO or HSPA (3G) cell phone or a cellular USB modem gives you and your team instant, reliable, and secure Internet access wherever you work. Great for simplifying individual access or sharing an Internet connection. Finally, you can have the convenience of secure WiFi and the coverage of cellular in one solution.
RV/Vacation
All the luxuries of home include Internet access. The CTR-350 gives you a great way to unleash the modem built-in your cellular phone or USB data modem and share an Internet connection. Now your entire group can be on-the-go and still have access to email, office files or simply get directions and chat with friends and family. With the CTR350, you no longer have to hunt around for a public WiFi hotspot to get Internet access when on vacation. Use it at the cabin or in the RV for always-connected access.
