Option X-1 Firmware

Firmware Update Instructions for the GlobeSurfer X.1

1.  Download the latest firmware from one of the links below, save to your computer to a location you can browse easily to.

2.  Log into your X.1 by opening a browser and pointing it to 168.192.1.1, then enter your ID and Password.   (We recommend doing firmware updates via ethernet cable, not via wifi if possible).

3.  Click on "Advanced"  

4.  Click on the "System" tab

5.  Click on "Firmware"

6.   This screen will show the existing firmware version, and have a box you can type in the file name, or click browse.

7.   Find the file ( 210.124.2-001.img) and double click on it, confirm that it appears in the window. 

8.   Click on "Upload" and wait, do not interrupt the update, it could take several minutes.
